If you’ve ever purchased Ikea’s all-famous (and oh-so-affordable) high chair, you know.
You know that despite the price that can’t be beat and the simple and chic design, there are a few major design flaws. And in case you happen to be in the research phase, let me fill you in on what those things are:
- Too wide of a space between the back of the seat and the tray
- No footrest
- Tray is very difficult to remove, and therefore clean
If you are on the fence, those are major enough to have you reconsidering the purchase. Am I right?!
But what if I told you there was a really simple solution? And although there’s an additional cost, you will end up with THE most adorable high chair and still come out well below the cost of most on the market?
That kind of changes things, then.
Let me introduce you to Yeah Baby Goods, a family owned small business, designing accessories for the Ikea high chair to make it both practical and adorable!
Have you ever heard about or researched Safe Highchair Positioning? It’s honestly never something I heard about or put any thought into. I always figured as long as baby had a seatbelt and a place to sit, we were good to go! But Yeah Baby Goods has opened my eyes to a whole new world.
I share all about that in today’s YouTube video. You can join us as we make a trip to Ikea to find a high chair and give Davina her very first foods. (Any guess as to what it will be??) But in the meantime, let me break down for you what we selected to make Davina’s high chair the cutest ever!
