Las Vegas Locals Gift Guide

I meant to have this up an entire day earlier, with it being Small Business Saturday and all. But if I’m being honest, (and I have no reason not to, this is my blog after all!) I’m burning the candle at 14 different places right now and I just needed a beat to catch my breath a bit.

While all my gift guides hold a special place in my heart, this one was (IS) so important to me because small businesses are struggling right now. Like, really struggling.

While big box businesses are finding ways to become more convenient and easier access, small businesses are falling at the wayside. And with a recession looming over us, they need our support more than ever.

Now, with that being said…I completely understand that everyone’s financial situations are different and let me urge you to honor your budget this year. I talk about this a bit more in my Gift Guide Highlight on Instagram, if you want to hear my heart on it.

But if your budget allows, I hope this gift guide serves as some inspiration for shopping local. This local guide is for Las Vegas since, obviously, that is my home. All of these you are also able to shop online. But I urge you to check out some of your local shops as well.

Happy shopping!

  1. RATTAN CACTUS HOOK
These darling cactus hooks are perfect for decorating any desert themed room. The rattan is super trendy at the moment and adds a beautiful bohemian aesthetic to any space. You can find them at Paige & Rye, which is a shop known for being a home for local artisans.
  2. RYLEE G PHOTOGRAPHY GIFT CARD
If the 4 photoshoots in one year didn’t give it away, I’m kinda obsessed with family photos. But even more so, I might be obsessed with Rylee (in a non-stalkery way). I mean besides the obvious (I mean, helllooooo stunning photography!), she is over the moon in love with her job and the energy is completely contagious. She makes every step of the process easy peasy (including a client wardrobe and grumpy husbands and kids, promise!). Give the gift of a photoshoot to someone you love and it will likely be the best thing they received this year.
  3. AURELIA CO JEWELRY
If you’re looking for stunning, hand-made jewelry – look no further! My daughter fell in love when we ran into the owner of this darling shop at the local farmer’s market and we now have more than a handful of pieces from her (with possibly more coming, but shh!). She makes even the dainty and basic pieces look elevated somehow and if you don’t believe me….go check out her new collection (SWOON)!
  4. MADDOX CO GLASS CUPS
The beer glass trend is all the rage and I can’t say I hate it. But these glasses take the trend next level with hilarious (and sometimes racy) phrases. It would definitely be a conversation starter on your next home coffee date.
  5. PINK DESERT
I’m so excited about this local boutique’s new holiday launch! From all the glitz and glam your heart desires, to the coziest sweatshirts like this one, there’s something for everyone to love. This feeling festive one may or may not have been made with me in mind. (It wasn’t, but I’d like to think it was!)
  6. MOON FARMZ
This company has been on a mission to provide a natural alternative to skin care and boy, have they delivered! When I made the move from South Florida, my skin was suffering the massive change in climate and when I found Moon Farmz, it finally helped bring it back from the dead. From bath bombs to body scrubs to body butters to beard oils….they got you covered from head to toe! She’s also got some fun, seasonal scents in stock so enjoy them while you can!
  7. CEDAR MOUNTAIN CANDLES
Come cool weather, and it is all candle season for me! I love the flickering glow and subtle scent that fills my home. Cedar Mountain Candles are made from 100% soy wax and are cruelty-free, eco-friendly, and vegan. I looooove these dough bowls and think they would make the most perfect holiday centerpiece!

None of these post contain affiliate links, that’s just how much I love supporting small (but if any of these brands want to work with me in the future, just know it would be my honor)!

Las Vegas friends, this is obviously just a taste of what the city has to offer. Let me know your favorites that I missed down in the comments!
