Today marks a significant milestone in our lives.  Ten years ago today, I said “I do” and committed to a lifetime of loving my best friend (although he hates being called my best friend because he says our relationship is so much more than that…sweet right?).  Although we were just children when we made the most important decision of our lives, not a day goes by where I am not grateful that God led me to this man and let me walk this journey with him.

And while apparently ten years qualifies you as a marriage expert others need to glean advice from…I’ll be the first to admit that I hardly feel qualified.  Any advice I would have to share was all handed down from the great role models who showed us what a healthy marriage looks like: our parents.

But regardless, we are thankful for the decade we now have under our belt and hope to have learned from past mistakes and continue to move forward in God’s grace.  I know we can both agree that we look forward to the next chapter in our lives and can’t wait for God to reveal what’s around the corner.
