Alright friends – the day has arrived! My long-awaited, and slightly late Stitch Fix package has arrived!
Those of you who are followers on facebook may have been counting down the days with me. You may have even been sick of my posts – haha! But now that it’s here, I need YOUR HELP!!!!
But first, let me rewind a sec. Chances are there are some of you out there that haven’t heard of Stitch Fix quite yet. I first tried it out earlier this year (you can read all about that HERE) and I just thought it was so fun and so convenient! Anyone out there who has kids knows how impossible it is to get any shopping done for yourself with them in tow. I don’t know about you but I’ve had them squishing my fat, pulling the dressing room curtain open when I’m in just underwear, and peeking underneath stalls at other people. So. Completely. Embarrassing. So pretty much the only shopping I get done is on a girls nights out. Which, as it turns out, are pretty hard to schedule! So when I heard that for a $20 “fee” I could have a personal stylist go over my Pinterest and blog and pick out five pieces specifically for me, send them to my door, and I could try them on in my own home??? Yeah….kind of perfect.
And that $20??? Goes towards your purchase. So the only time you lose out is if you decide to keep nothing in that box. Google it and you’ll find it’s pretty rare =) These stylists do a GREAT job! Between your detailed style profile, the ability to link to all your social media, and the feedback you get to leave for each item….I have found that I am always snagging up SOMEthing!
And this time proved to be no different. Shall we get to the pictures already??? Because I seriously need your help deciding what stays and what goes.
ITEM #1: Square Print Top
The first one here is this square print top. At first glimpse I thought…tank tops, really??? But after trying this on I thought the color and print looked really festive and as long as I had something to mix and match with it it would be great.
After trying it on….well, I kind of love it. It might be a little big? I’m curious to hear what you think about that. But I tend to like a looser fit on top so I’m not so sure I mind.
ITEM #2: Floral Print Sleeveless Top
This second top (again tank top…) is such a pretty print and its a nice heavy fabric so it doesn’t feel all that summery. I think this just might be the perfect piece to glam up for a holiday party or tone down with jeans and boots for an every day look. And I love how its just short enough in the front to layer with a lace cami.
ITEM #3: Sophia Skinny Jeans
These jeans are adorable. I must admit. They are just a little big though. I wish they were just a size smaller. But the color is fabulous. It’s a stretchy material which makes the skinny cut totally comfortable.
ITEM #4: Sasha Houndstooth Jacket
I love houndstooth. And a great coat. Unfortunately, no matter how cute this one is….its almost identical to one already in my closet. Not to mention it felt a little big all over.
ITEM #3: Martine Floral Maxi Dress
I have been itching to get a maxi dress in my closet, but I must admit I was a bit disappointed to see this one. I can’t picture myself wearing this one until at least spring. The colors and print just don’t fit the season at all. After trying it on I really do like it. I think its flattering and comfortable. But I’m just not sure….
What about you? What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. I have 3 days to make up my mind and send back what I don’t want.
Want in on the fun? You can sign up for Stitch Fix through my referral link. They have an awesome referral program that gets me credit for everyone who signs up through my link so you’d be really helping me if you decide to do it as well.
