This weekend had something to offer for each of us this weekend – a little self-care, arts and crafts, a birthday party, lots of fresh air, and a fair share of downtime!

Even though it was a holiday weekend, my husband still had school on Friday (gasp!) and the kids must have had a secret meeting Thursday night to terrorize me because it was a pretty rough day that ended in tears and fights. But despite the rough start, it turned out to be a pretty good weekend.

I also wanted to take a moment to thank our Veterans and their families for your sacrifice and our freedom! The older I get, the more I realize the depth of that sacrifice. We are so grateful.
